Warranty Policy

Our commitment to quality, backed by a comprehensive warranty coverage.

1. Introduction

GOAT, operated by ROI Technologies – India, is committed to delivering reliable audio products supported by dependable after-sales service and structured warranty assistance. This Warranty Policy establishes the terms, conditions, coverage scope, and claim procedures applicable to GOAT products purchased through authorized sales channels. The objective of this policy is to ensure transparency in service delivery while providing customers with clear guidance regarding eligibility, claim processing, exclusions, and service timelines.

By purchasing, registering, or using GOAT products, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Warranty Policy. Warranty benefits described herein apply only to genuine GOAT products and are subject to verification procedures conducted by authorized service personnel.

2. Warranty Coverage

GOAT provides a limited warranty for its products against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal usage conditions. The applicable warranty period varies depending on the specific product model purchased, and the exact warranty duration is specified on the product packaging, product manual, official product listing, or purchase invoice at the time of sale. The warranty period shall commence from the original date of purchase as indicated on the valid invoice issued by an authorized seller, distributor, or official e-commerce partner.

Customers are advised to retain their purchase invoice and product documentation for the entire warranty duration, as these records serve as primary proof for warranty verification. Where extended warranty programs or promotional warranty periods are offered for certain products, the applicable duration will be communicated through official GOAT channels and will apply only to eligible purchases meeting the stated program conditions.

3. Product Registration Requirement

To ensure accurate warranty tracking and faster service processing, product registration is mandatory for availing warranty benefits. Customers are required to register their product by submitting valid purchase details, product serial numbers, and customer contact information through the official warranty registration portal.

Product registration enables GOAT to maintain accurate service records, verify eligibility quickly, and provide efficient after-sales support. Failure to complete registration within the recommended timeframe may result in delays or, in certain cases, denial of warranty service until registration and verification are completed.

Mandatory Status

Customers are encouraged to complete registration immediately after purchase using the official registration link provided on the company website or product documentation.

4. What Is Covered Under Warranty

The GOAT warranty covers manufacturing-related defects that affect product performance under normal usage conditions. Covered issues may include, but are not limited to:

  • Defects in sound output, speaker performance, or hardware functionality resulting from manufacturing faults
  • Internal component failures or assembly defects affecting device performance
  • Charging, battery, or power-related issues not caused by external misuse or incompatible accessories
  • Functional malfunctions identified by authorized service technicians as manufacturing defects

Where such defects are confirmed during inspection, GOAT will determine the appropriate service solution, which may include repair, component replacement, or product replacement depending on feasibility and availability.

5. What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damages or issues resulting from conditions outside manufacturing defects. Examples of non-covered situations include:

  • Physical damage caused by drops, impact, mishandling, or improper storage
  • Liquid damage, moisture exposure, or corrosion caused by environmental factors
  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic deterioration, or aging components
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized modification, or tampering
  • Issues resulting from use of incompatible chargers, cables, or third-party accessories
  • Accessories such as ear tips, charging cables, packaging materials, or non-electronic components
  • Damage caused by natural disasters, accidents, or other external events beyond product control

Products identified as falling under these exclusion categories may not qualify for free warranty service; however, paid repair options may be offered where technically feasible.

6. Proof of Purchase Requirement

Customers must provide a valid purchase invoice or order confirmation issued by an authorized seller or marketplace to initiate warranty service. The invoice must clearly indicate the purchase date, product model, and seller details. Absence of valid purchase documentation may delay warranty verification or result in denial of warranty claims where eligibility cannot be confirmed.

7. Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must contact GOAT customer support through official channels such as email, WhatsApp support, or the designated service portal. During claim initiation, customers may be required to provide product details, registration confirmation, proof of purchase, and a clear description of the issue encountered.

Upon receipt of the claim request, GOAT support representatives may guide customers through preliminary troubleshooting steps to verify the reported issue. If the problem persists and qualifies for inspection, customers will receive instructions regarding product submission, service center address, or pickup arrangements where available.

8. Return, Inspection, and Shipping Process

After claim verification, a claim reference number will be issued along with detailed instructions for returning the defective product. Customers are responsible for securely packaging the product to prevent transit damage and shipping the product to the authorized service facility at their own cost unless otherwise specified.

Once the product is received, it undergoes technical inspection to verify the reported defect and determine warranty eligibility. If the claim is approved, GOAT will repair or replace the product and arrange return shipment of the serviced or replacement unit at the company’s expense. Replacement products may be new or refurbished to equivalent functional standards. The warranty period for repaired or replaced products will continue from the original purchase date and will not restart.

If the claim is rejected due to ineligible conditions such as physical damage, misuse, unauthorized repair attempts, or expired warranty coverage, customers may request the return of the product. Shipping or handling charges associated with returning rejected products shall be borne by the customer.

9. Service Timelines

Warranty processing timelines may vary depending on verification procedures, inspection complexity, spare component availability, and logistics coordination. GOAT strives to maintain efficient service turnaround times; however, certain delays may occur due to operational factors beyond direct control. Customers will be informed of claim status updates and service progress through registered communication channels whenever feasible.

10. Limitation of Liability

Warranty service provided under this policy is limited to repair, restoration, or replacement of defective products as determined by GOAT after inspection. ROI Technologies – India and GOAT shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of usage, inconvenience, or business interruption resulting from product malfunction, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Policy Updates

GOAT reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this Warranty Policy periodically to reflect operational improvements, regulatory requirements, or service framework updates. Updated versions will be published on the official website, and continued use of GOAT products after policy revisions indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Warranty Policy shall be governed by the applicable laws of India, and any disputes arising from warranty claims or policy interpretation shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts located in the principal place of business of ROI Technologies – India, unless otherwise required by law.
